NDIS Psychology

We provide NDIS psychology services from our centre in Fremantle and via telehealth, with community-based visits only available on an ad-hoc basis e.g. to attend school meetings. NDIS-funded psychology services need to be focused on aspects related to disability and maintaining/ building capacity.

What Can NDIS-Funded Psychology Sessions Support With?

  • Adjustment to disability & developing acceptance of such

  • Building a positive identity in relation to disability

  • Building understanding of strengths and differences/ challenges

  • Building understanding of support needs in relation to emotional regulation

  • Exploring & problem-solving triggers for emotional dysregulation & distress behaviours, to reduce the frequency and intensity of such episodes

  • Developing individualised self-care strategies to support regulation

  • Building healthier relational dynamics

  • Developing the skill of pacing to maintain regulation and increase capacity

  • Developing advocacy skills

  • Developing goals & steps to achieve those goals
