Fees

Please note that we can provide NDIS-funded support to maintain and build capacity related to disability for both self-managed and plan-managed (for Improved Daily Living section of your Plan) clients, but not NDIA-managed clients as we are not an NDIS registered provider.

We can also provide Medicare-rebated support for treatment of mental health conditions to clients with a referral and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) who see a registered psychologist.

We can also provide private health fund-rebated support if you are have such cover (please check with your provider for seeing a Registered Psychologist).

We also offer reduced rate sessions with a provisional psychologist. Provisional psychologists are early career psychologists who work with additional supervision and guidance.

Standard Rate

Our standard fee is $234.83 per therapy hour (approximately 50 minutes in-session plus 10 minutes note-taking time) or part thereof for seeing a registered psychologist. If you are a telehealth client from interstate, and funded under NDIS, the fee will be adjusted accordingly.

Our provisional psychologist standard rate is $156.16 per therapy hour or part thereof. If you are a telehealth client from interstate, and funded under NDIS, the fee will be adjusted accordingly.

This is the maximum fee for psychology services in the current version of the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits guide, which can be found here: https://www.ndis.gov.au/providers/pricing-arrangements. This means that there is no gap fee for NDIS clients.

If you are not funded under NDIS, with a valid Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP, you can access a Medicare rebate of $92.90 for a standard therapy hour’s session with a registered psychologist. Provisional psychologists cannot work under the Medicare scheme currently.

Concession Rate

We offer a concession rate for clients (not funded by NDIS) who have a concession card or are otherwise in financial hardship.

This rate is $150.00 per therapy hour or part thereof.

Our provisional psychologist concession rate is $75.00 per therapy hour or part thereof.

With a valid Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP, you can access a Medicare rebate of $92.90 for a standard therapy hour’s session with a registered psychologist. Provisional psychologists cannot work under the Medicare scheme currently.

Late Cancellation/

Non-Attendance Fee

Our late cancellation (less than 48 hours’ notice)/ non-attendance fee is 50% of your session fee, except for Autism and ADHD assessment sessions in which it is capped at $150.

Exceptional circumstances such as recent onset of illness will be considered on a case by case basis regarding waiving of the fee.

Cancellation fees are covered within NDIS funding, but are not eligible for a Medicare or private health fund rebate.

Autism Assessment Fee

Our autism assessment fee is $2 400.00 with a registered psychologist, which is payable over three sessions (two assessment sessions and a feedback session) in equal amounts of $800.

Our provisional psychologist autism assessment fee is $1 500, which is payable over three session (two assessment sessions and a feedback session) in equal amounts of $500.

This fee is based off two 1.5 hr assessment sessions (using the MIGDAS-2), scoring and interpretation of questionnaires, consideration of other documentation, writing of a report with information related to each of the diagnostic criteria, and a 1 hr feedback session.

For those with a concession card, the fee with a registered psychologist is reduced to $1 800, payable in three equal amounts of $600. No further concession rate is applied to assessment with a provisional psychologist.

A Medicare rebate of $92.90 per session is only available for clients aged under 25 years, and is restricted to 8 assessment sessions across allied health clinicians across the lifetime - and not with a provisional psychologist. You can obtain a referral from a GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist. Alternatively if you have private health funding (with cover for registered psychologist services), this can provide a rebate for each session for assessment with a registered psychologist. Typically sutism assessment is not covered by NDIS.

Note: current best practice guidelines recommend multi-disciplinary assessment, particularly for children and adolescents, and therefore for clients under 18 years Speech Pathology and paediatrician/ psychiatrist assessment is also required, which comes with their own fees. We welcome collaborative assessment.

ADHD Assessment Fee

Our ADHD assessment fee is $900.00, which is payable over the assessment session ($450) and feedback session ($450).

Our provisional psychologist ADHD assessment fee is $500, which is payable over the assessment session ($250) and feedback session ($250).

This fee is based off a 1.5 hr assessment session (using the DIVA-5 or Young DIVA-5), scoring and interpretation of a questionnaire, consideration of other documentation, writing of a report with information related to each of the diagnostic criteria, and a 1 hr feedback session.

For those with a concession card, the fee with a registered psychologist is reduced to $600, payable in two equal amounts of $300. No further concession rate is applied to assessment with a provisional psychologist.

ADHD assessment is not covered under Medicare or NDIS. If you have private health funding (with cover for registered psychologist services), this can provide a rebate for each session with a registered psychologist.
